The remit of this role covers providing administrative compliance support to the Compliance Manager and the wider compliance function.

What is the plan for the Compliance Executive role?

• To log all regulatory correspondence and to issue diary reminders where appropriate.
• Schedule, attend and document Compliance/Outsourcer meetings.
• Provide assistance in completing regulatory returns both to the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (GFSC) and the Financial Conduct Authority.
• Preparation of first drafts of Regulated Individual Applications to the GFSC and to liaise with applicants for outstanding information.
• Prepare communications in a clear, consistent, and accurate manner
• Identify any regulatory changes and to arrange for summaries to be produced by the Compliance manager.
• Assisting with compliance-based projects.



What do you know that makes you a great Compliance Executive?

• Compliance experience within a General Insurance firm (either Gibraltar or UK) or at least a minimum of 1 year's compliance within a Gibraltar based financial services or a similar regulated industry.
• A good working knowledge of GFSC or FCA regulations
• Effective communication and relationship building skills with both colleagues in Gibraltar and the wider Compliance Team in the UK
• Ability to deliver solid reporting process with the insight and emotional intelligence to challenge the inputs to the process and anticipate issues.
• Excellent Attention to detail, with an analytical mindset
• Ability to work independently and proactively with excellent organisation skills.


Salary £25k - £35k based on experience with benefits package.
